Needs and animals

2 Dogs

Our 2 staby/ kooiker dogs require:
1. Food twice a day (between 7:30-8:30 and 18:30-19:30)
2. 3x toilet breaks/ short walks, anytime between 6:30-9:30, 15:00-17:00, 20:30-23:00.
3. Dental sticks/ treats once or twice a day between meals.
4. The dogs can stay alone for long, but we prefer that they aren’t left alone overnight or for over 5 hours at a time.
5. The dogs do not have access to the guest room and we prefer to keep it that way.

4 bedroom apartment ~130sqm in a quiet area close to nature and accessible by public transport. Geneva airport is 7 minutes by bus, the river and Voie Vert are 5 minutes on foot, and the Old Town/ shopping areas about 30 minutes by bus. There are 3 supermarkets within a 500m radius.
We have 2 balconies, 1 large and one smaller.
The sitter(s) will have their own private bedroom with double bed and a private full bathroom. If required, they will have access to a shared space with an office desk and chair.A couple of our rooms will be out of bounds.

Lots or pets around; 6 or more outdoor cats.
There are farmers markets weekly, with the Vernier library, town hall and green parks nearby. Lots of walking trails close by. The wine growing area of Satigny is very close by. Everything is accessible by public transport, and there are dedicated visitor parking spots available. There is a fenced dog park next to us (< 1min)

Tourism and Leisure

Geneva is home to the CERN headquarters , the Old Town, Lake Geneva and the jet d’eau, Jardin Botanique, the United Nations, the Broken Chair and a lot of other international organizations. There are a lot of highly rated museums which offer free entry on the first Sunday of all months. Other than the tourist tram, we also recommend taking a boat on the lake or kayaking on the Rhone in the warmer months. The French Saleve and the Jura mountains are very easily accessible, and one could also do a number of trips to Mont Blanc/ Chamonix, Nyon, Montreux, Lavaux Vineyards, Gruyere, Yvoire or Evian.

Ratna und D.J. waren sehr herzliche Gastgeber.Wir wurden sehr herzlich Empfangen und mit einem sehr leckerem Abendessen versorgt. Die Hunde haben es uns gleich angetan. Da wir nur für eine Nacht bei ihnen waren, war es ein sehr schöner Aufenthalt. Wir würden gerne wieder kommen.
