We are a family with two small children and we regularly go to France to visit my family or we enjoy traveling out school holidays period as they are still not going to compulsory school.
We're looking for people (family, couple or friends) who could stay from the 21st of July to the 9 of August and would take care of our two cats (we barely see one of them, except when she is hungry) and our dog (a maremma sheperd) of 2 years old. Our cats just need to be fed twice a day and they do their own life. Our dog eats twice a day too and as she is still young, she likes to play and walk. She is really adorable with everyone, kids and other pets included. Her instinct is to protect people living on her land so she can be a little sticky sometimes.

Our environment is really quiet and peaceful except some noise of farm animals around (chickens and roosters). We can easily reach the centre town of Amelia just walking or biking (1km) and visit its charming old part.

A Healing Stay in a Rural Setting Close to Town It was great staying at Delphine's place. Her property sits outside the city of Amelia in Umbria on a piece of land with a big garden and fruit trees. It is close enough to the city for one to walk to it. All three of her animals, two cats and one dog, were fantastic company. Kora, the dog is especially sweet and spirited. I also watered the garden and got to eat plenty of organic basil, sage, and mint, zucchini, and apricots, Amelia is one hour by train to Rome and towns such as Ovieto, Spoleto, and Assissi are close. I occupied the entire first floor of the house: a huge room and a big kitchen and Delphine treated me exceedingly well, showing me how to navigate the town and figure out the details of my stay. J'ai passé un excellent séjour chez Delphine et j'ai adoré ses animaux, deux chats et une chienne à grande personnalité et un coeur d'or. J'ai arrosé le jardin et fait une cure de courgettes, d'abricots, et d'herbes bio. La propriété de Delphine se trouve à la périphérie de la ville d'Amélia, en Ombrie, une région bien arrosée avec une végétation abondante. On peut aisément se rendre en ville à pied. Amélia est une ville attachante et agréable. Il y a de nombreux sentiers de randonnée. Rome est à une heure de train et des villes comme Orvieto, Spoleto et Assise sont prôches. Delphine a été attentive à mes besoins et j'ai pu passer un mois à me reposer et à me ressourcer dans un cadre bucolique.
