PhD researcher
I am a PhD researcher in the final stages of writing my dissertation. Before starting the doctoral studies, I worked in The Hague and studied in Boston, the United States. Currently, I live in Florence, Italy, and since it is the last year of my doctoral studies and I don't need to be close to the university anymore, I'd love to help out with house and pet sitting. I grew up in a country house and can take care of the garden. I also always had dogs in the family: a magnificent German shepherd, a wonderful rescue dog, and an adorable Yorkshire terrier. We also had a turtle. I love animals and would love to help take care of them.

Daria is a wonderful house-sitter. She was organised, diligent, and responsible in making sure her travel plans would fit our needs; she was prompt and responsive in preparing for our house-sit; and she was a fantastic care-taker of our home and our three dogs. Our dogs absolutely adored Daria and wanted to be with her whenever they could. Regrettably, one of our dogs was sick one night (having eaten something in the field, not due to any negligence on Daria's part), and Daria took immediate and fantastic care of our pup. On top of being a wonderful housesitter, Daria is a lovely and kind individual. We would happily welcome her again (whether with or without house-sitting needs). We highly recommend her!
