Hi, we are Lore and Matt

Lore: I am a clinical psychologist currently working in Belgium at a university. Whenever I am not working, you can find me abroad. I love to explore new places. I especially love nature and wildlife. You can always find me somewhere quiet, enjoying the peace. I love reading, meditating and walking. I recently worked as a manager in a silent retreat center in Guatemala.

Matt: I am a retired airline pilot with prior experience in the Royal Navy who now enjoys a more relaxed lifestyle.

We have owned a number of different pets ourselves and we are now seasoned house sitters, having looked after several homes and animals - from which you can read some endorsements below.

And we know how important it is to have people who look after your house and pets really well - people you can trust, who will treat both like their own, and who will keep in touch or send you some photos if you choose. In the past we have been lucky enough to have had family and friends do this while we've been on holidays so we've experienced first hand how comforting it is to be able to leave your home knowing that you don't have to worry about anything while you're away.

Before taking on any house sitting opportunities we are always very happy to meet in person or - if that isn't possible - to correspond by e-mail, phone or Skype.

Matt and Lore were wonderful house sitters. They were very flexible and accommodated changes to my travel times very calmly with Lore kindly coming up to the house early and Matt joining her later. Lore was very thorough in making sure she understood what we wanted with regard to the house and Winston and I really enjoyed her company over dinner. She is a very capable and kind person, quietly confident and clearly experienced in looking after someone else's house as if it were her own, and I felt very comfortable leaving her in charge of everything. They kept me updated while I was away with photos of Winston enjoying his walks and happily took in parcels as they arrived in my absence. They ensured that all the linen was clean and back on the bed and the house spotless when we returned....they even cleaned out the fire grate which was very kind. Winston was very happy with them and I would not hesitate to recommend them as fabulous house sitters. I would very happily have them back again.
